Also known as: completion percentage
The percentage of articles from a given period that a server genuinely holds and can serve. Retention says how far back the spool reaches; completion says how much of it survived propagation gaps and expiry. A provider quoting 5,000 days but 92% completion on old material leaves PAR2 repair or a second server to fill the holes.
