Excessive Cross-Posting, naming so many groups in one article's Newsgroups header that the post cannot plausibly be on topic for most of them. Unlike multi-posting, a single article is stored once and readers see it once, so ECP was judged the lesser offence, though a message aimed at hundreds of groups still counted as spam. Both behaviors are scored together by the Breidbart Index.
